Labyrinth Sonnet - Carli Logan

The blinding sunlight and blistering heat,
hindering the journey to find myself.
This conflict inside I have yet to beat.
The answer eludes me, having great stealth.

This journey only maeks me feel lost
and I question any presence of hope.
In the end it's ok, but at what cost?
My faith is hanging by a strand of the rope.

I can see the end! I can see my life!
With an olive branch returns my sweet dove.
Finally it is worth all of my strife.
Simple as it is, the answer is love.

This labyrinth has showed me the greatest of things.
Life is a gift, and so is the love that it brings.
