As I Walk on Memory Lane

As I walk memory lane,

My feet stop in fear,

Though I never felt this feeling before, the grass tickles my feet

The silent stares are over bearing,

My past is with me today chaos reaches me near I try and run,

The feeling is too strong,

I can’t move they have me on the ground I try to pick up the pieces,

I run faster.

My past has caught up with me,

Pointing fingers, awkward space I’m crammed up and I don’t

Have anywhere else to go.

So I slowly close my eyes as I hear a blow.
