Word Card Poems
Touched by a blossom
Just one thing stirs you
Toxic blossom
Everything that I understand
Exquisite Willow
So on and so on
Tomorrow timeless
Horizons
See the light dawning
Here comes the sun
Just one thing stirs you
Toxic blossom
Everything that I understand
Exquisite Willow
So on and so on
Tomorrow timeless
Horizons
See the light dawning
Here comes the sun

Old Home-Nikki
I look back to my home,
A place we call swamp,
I am now in focus,
my new not-home,
Always missing
My old home.
I sit by these dragons,
A lost not-gator,
I spread my new wings,
Always reaching for
My Old Home.
I am a dragon,
But remain a gator at heart.
I hope someday soon,
To once again see
My Old Home.
I miss you gators! I can't wait to see you all again =)

I am now in focus,
my new not-home,
Always missing
My old home.

I spread my new wings,
Always reaching for

Labyrinth Poem by Mercedes Turner
Laughing students everywhere
Across the way
Bouncing around in circles
Yawning but remaining focused
Reaching for the top
In the daylight
Never giving up on life
Thinking of the beautiful flowers
Haha there happy!
Across the way
Bouncing around in circles
Yawning but remaining focused
Reaching for the top
In the daylight
Never giving up on life
Thinking of the beautiful flowers
Haha there happy!

Sunset
The girl sits on the porch looking at the sunset,
knowing somewhere he is also.
He, who will be her future husband, her soul mate.
As she takes it all in she wonders,
Does he see what I see? Is he close to me?
Do I already know this he?
She looks at the sunset and anticipates
What lies ahead and what her life will be like when the mysterious he and she will one day sit on the porch, together, looking at the sunset.

(2) Magnetic Poetry by Rachel Edwards
Addicted
He drinks because he knows no better
He knows it takes him pain away and let him forget about his past and for a short time his past is erased
But he knows it’s not the answer;
But he’s addicted;
He drinks
Stand Up
You face difficulties day after day
Instead of breaking down
Rise up with strong faith
And overcome the fight
Sonnet by Rachel Edwards
The Language of Love
We sit on the porch and all is quiet
Wanting but not going in for a kiss
Without it, our lives become a riot
We feel as though we have reached an abyss
Not feeling the sun, not seeing the trees
We want to climb out, see the flowers of June
Experience the fine beauty of seas
Connect to each other, forming a rune
It will soon evolve like a blooming rose
Our love will illuminate from afar
It will feel so right, like sand through toes
It will produce sweet song, like a guitar
It is precious, something we need to save
It is confident and most of all brave.
Walk About Poem by Rachel Edwards
Hero
How Do You Do It?
Living With Death and Dying
Understanding the Emptiness
Dealing With the Loss of A Loved One
To Have the Power
Not Like the Rest Of Us
How Much Is Too Much?
Do You Ever Wanna Quit?
Break Down and Cry
My Brave Soul,
Well Done, You Have Won the Fight
You Can Now Move On
Gung Ho!
Go Live Your Life

Protest Poem by Tyler Daniels
The draft separated many families.
It took young men’s lives.
Yet we feel no remorse.
The number 012 was called
Death, fear, tragedy
The draft.
It took young men’s lives.
Yet we feel no remorse.
The number 012 was called
Death, fear, tragedy
The draft.
Word Card Poem by Tyler Daniels
Your world divine
We’ll take you there
Look around
Forty years later
Everyday
See yourself
Building character
Is it possible?
Find your voice
That stirs the soul
We’ll take you there
Look around
Forty years later
Everyday
See yourself
Building character
Is it possible?
Find your voice
That stirs the soul

LIfe is too sacred
Not to smile
To Cut off Joy
Labryinth Poem by Tyler Daniels
Walking on an unknown path,
With the peaceful, serene nature guiding me.
A personal journey that all must face
To come at peace with one self is perfect.
I finally reached my goal through that maze.
With the peaceful, serene nature guiding me.
A personal journey that all must face
To come at peace with one self is perfect.
I finally reached my goal through that maze.
Haiku By Rachel Edwards
Nature's Language
Swaying willow trees
Softly telling a story
Nature's own language
The Ocean
Sea of endless blue
Expanding beyond my sight
Never seems to stop
Autumn
Autumn brings new sights
Deep red, orange and yellow leaves
A beautiful time
Spring
Flowers blossoming
Springtime smells arising
Spring has now begun
Summertime Noises
Birds singing their songs
Lightning bugs glowing at night
Crickets loud chirping
